Our Strategies articulate the Vision in more
detail and guide how Whistler will achieve the Vision for
the year 2020. Seventeen strategies are supported by
hundreds of individual actions that are continually developed by a
stakeholder input process – each designed to move us toward the
desired future. Each strategy represents an important area of focus
within the community, and includes an introduction and scope, a
Description of Success for the year 2020, a baseline assessment
known as a ‘current reality’ as well as an ongoing action-plan and
planning process. Finally, each strategy also includes a monitoring
and reporting system developed to assess whether or not we are on
the right track.
