Cool Schools
School District #48 offers a number of alternate methods of
curriulum delivery through the Adult Learning Center (ALC), which
is located on the Whistler Secondary School Campus. The ALC
offers a number of web based e-learning courses called "COOL
School".
Students are able to take on-line COOL School courses throughout
the year that they are unable to fit into their timetables or
training schedules. This program supports the Flex Ed program -
which is all about enabling students to 'miss' school in order to
train and compete in their chosen field, such as athletics or the
arts.
