Building Innovations
Spring Creek Firehall was one of the first
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design) registered projects in Whistler. The RMOW and Hughes
Condon and Marler Architects worked together to create a building
that could capably illustrate green building initiatives through
a variety of strategies and technologies.
The Firehall building incorporates green building technologies
including reduced vehicle emissions, energy efficient building
systems, protection of on-site open space, the minimization of
water usage and the maximization of indoor air quality.
